61´«Ã½tv’s partnership with Dispatch Goods allows us to offer reusable cups, plates, bowls and take-out containers at UnCommon Grounds, Wyndham, and campus-wide events. Since January 2026, we have kept over 40,000 containers out of landfills — diverting over 2.4 tons of disposables from landfill/recycling centers, avoiding over 19 tons of carbon emissions, and saving over 20,000 gallons of water! Additional return bins are now located at the following locations: All dining locations - UnCommon Grounds (Campus Center), Erdman Dining Hall, New Dorm Dining Hall, Lusty Cup (Canaday Library) and Wyndham Alumnae house Taylor Hall - 1st floor, near restrooms Park Science - atrium Available during major events through Dining Services and Catering This program relies on the honor system to keep us accountable. Please bring containers to any return bin on a frequent basis. Our current overall return rate is ~61% — we can do better and we home this number will increase during the course of the academic year. (Swarthmore’s return rate is ~82%!) You can also help reduce waste by bringing your own clean mug to UnCommon Grounds for coffee refills and brining a reusable water bottle with you around campus.
