Campus Safety responded to the report of a suspicious person at the rear of the GSSW building. The subject was gone upon arrival. The building was checked and found to be secure.

11:30 pm | Medical Response | Wyndham Alumnae House
Campus Safety observed an Ambulance and Police car parked on N. Merion Avenue and stopped to investigate. A guest at the Wyndham Alumnae House had fallen, dialed 911 and Campus Safety was not notified by County Dispatch. Report for record.

Campus Safety received a call from PECO to assist with contacting the owners of several cars parked on N. Merion Avenue to move them so the cars would not be towed. The owners were notified and responded to move their cars.

Campus Safety responded and took a report of a delivery truck that struck and damaged a streetlight on Canaday Drive. No injuries reported. No damage was sustained to the delivery truck.

Campus Safety responded to the Wyndham Alumnae House for a student who was vomiting. Campus Safety transported the student to 61´«Ã½tv Hospital.

Campus Safety received a phone call regarding an ongoing incident involving an alumna of 61´«Ã½tv. Executive Director Lil Burroughs handled the call.

Campus Safety responded to an intrusion alarm coming from the basement door of the Graduate School of Social Work at 300 Airdale Road. On arrival the building was found to be secure. The interior of the building was checked and found to be empty.

Students contacted Campus Safety to report a suspicious male asking for a ride. The person was identified as a Villanova student who had been drinking. The person was transported to the Campus Safety office where he was allowed to charge his phone and call an Uber.

An alumna of 61´«Ã½tv came into the Campus Safety office to request access into the Lusty Cup. The alumna was asked to return during normal business hours.

Campus Safety responded to the outside of Taylor Hall for the report of a staff member who fell. Narberth Ambulance responded and transported the staff member to Bryn Mawr Hospital.

Campus Safety responded to the report of a suspicious odor in Merion Hall. The source of the odor was found to be a student burning incense. Referred to Student Affairs.

Campus Safety received an intrusion alarm from Canaday Library. The building was checked and found to be secure.

Campus Safety responded to the report of a person dancing and videoing in front Pen-Y-Groes. The person was identified as a student filming a TikTok video.

Students called Campus Safety to report the odor of marijuana coming from the first floor of Erdman Hall. Campus Safety responded but was unable to locate the source of the odor. Referred to Student Affairs.

Students called Campus Safety to report the smell of cigarettes in the first-floor hallway of Rockefeller Hall. Campus Safety responded and was unable to locate the source of the odor. Referred to Student Affairs.

Campus Safety responded to Pembroke Hall for the report of a suspicious odor on the third floor or Pem West. Campus Safety responded and checked the area with a natural gas detector which did not detect natural gas. The odor was described as cooked eggs. Referred to Student Affairs.

A RideShare driver called Campus Safety to report they had just dropped off two intoxicated students at Brecon Hall. Campus Safety responded, evaluated the students and determined them to be safe to remain on campus. Referred to Student Affairs

Campus Safety responded to a water flow alarm at the Goodhart Theater. The building was checked and system was reset without issue.

Campus Safety responded to the report of a student accidentally struck in the mouth by a hockey stick and transported the student to 61´«Ã½tv Hospital. The student returned to campus on their own.

A student came into the Campus Safety office to report a post on social media that concerned them. The post/image was determined to be from another platform over three years ago. Student Affairs was advised.

Campus Safety responded to an intrusion alarm at the Graduate School of Social Work. A student was found inside the building. The building was checked and system was reset without issue. The student was provided transport back to their dorm.

Campus Safety responded to Rockefeller Hall for the report of a sick student. The student was able to contact the on-call nurse who advised the student to hydrate and go to the hospital if their condition worsened.
